Complaints

Persons wishing to file a complaint against a Certified or Registered counselor under the California Certification Board of Chemical Dependency Counselors jurisdiction may do so by obtaining and filling out a formal complaint form. Complaint forms may be downloaded from the CCBCDC website www.californiacertificationboard.org forms are located under the Complaints Section or contacting our office.

The CCBCDC will protect the confidentiality of those who provide information to every possible extent. However, the CCBCDC will become involved only in matters that can be factually determined, while providing the respondent with every opportunity to respond in a professional and legally defensible atmosphere. Determining Investigations, Complaints, Suspensions and Revocations. The CCBCDC will take the following course of action when determining Investigations, Complaints, Suspensions and Revocations in accordance to the section of the State of California Alcohol and Drug Programs Administration.
