CONTINUING EDUCATION

CERTIFICATION

As part of the AOD Counseling professional practice, it is expected that there will be no lapse of certification during the two-year certification period.

REGISTRATION

As part of the AOD Counseling professional practice, it is expected that there will be no lapse of registration during the one year registration period.

Certification and Registration Maintenance Program Objectives

1. Keep CCDC certifications valid and current.

2. Foster critical review of recent advances in within the AOD field of practice.

3. Provide documentation of CCDC certification status as required by the State of California Alcohol and Drug Programs Administration
